Beautiful: Yellowed finish with age, and some mild checking in various places which is a normal part of aging. Ebony fretboard. Comes with the original hard shell case. Very nearly 20 year old Mint condition. The serial number reflects that it is a ‘62 reissue. It is not the usual 1/5 code. Thanks.

This is a very lightly used 2000 Gibson Historic 1962 Les Paul Custom (aka SG), in Classic White gloss, with vintage yellowing, solid mahogany body and neck, with Kluson deluxe tuners. Fretboard has a large radius, with solid ebony, and barely worn fret wires. Three classic 57 humbuckers (we think) covered with gold pup covers. Gold ABR-1 Bridge with gold metal stoptail. Was built in Nashville in 1999 to 2000. Ships in the original hard shell Gibson case with the packing slip document. The neck is a slender tapered C. The condition is mint minus, or excellent plus. There are no dings or bops. Near mint. There are several spots of natural clear coat checking, which is an inherent part of aging along with the mellow yellow tint. The checking may be seen in some of the hi res photos below. The only evidence of play are pick sweep marks on the pick guard. The weight is 7 pounds 6 ounces. The condition of this guitar is exceptionally fine for a 20 year old piece. Appears to have seen little play time. Returns for errors in listing or defects.
