This is a brand new Mike McCready (of Pearl Jam) 1959 Les Paul Burst RI like the one that he regularly uses on stage.  It is heavily aged with radical finish abrasions and all the good things that the Gibson CS boys can do.  It weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces, and comes in the original aged Lifton style case.  There is a letter about the history of the guitar attached.  The 59s come with Custom Buckers and all the finer improvements that have been added to the historics in recent years.  The single layer rosewood fretboard is very dark, almost ebony in color.  The 59s have C profile necks.  They are not weight relieved.  The mahogany neck has substantial aging on the back-  please see the photos.  The aged case is a new idea that has come into play in the last year.  The McCreadys have been very successful sellers .  This is our fifth.  The body is mahogany with a two piece maple top.  The nickel hardware is heavily aged.  Inked serial number on the headstock and matching fancy COA.  Returns accepted for errors in listing or defective pieces.  In other cases there may be a 5% restocking fee.  No Gibson warranty as we are players and collectors and as such are technically the first owners.
